Magic!

Been struggling with sebhorric dermatitis on my moustache and chin for months - flaky, tight, red skin which was really impacting my quality of life. I bought this soap after a recommendation and within 1 use it already felt calmer, and it was gone in a matter of days. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Works wonders

More detail in my review for the cream in this range - but in short this stuff has worked wonders for my dermatitis, more than any number of prescribed items I've had over the years.

A brilliant find

After searching endlessly to find this type of product the Face Wash has been a life saver for me.
A very easy to use product that has given me a renewed hope that all is not lost and I now have two products, with the cream, that work for me.

Napalm that face fungus

I've been suffering from seborrheic dermatitis for nearly a year and I've used any number of products within that time without any success this even includes anti-fungals like a cleaning bar that contains the dreaded "zinc pyrithione" which has been banned in Europe for a couple of years because it's carcinogenic. I had to buy that via an American vendor so it was quite expensive. Ketoconazole and selenium sulfide are too drying. Anything that dries you out that much only exacerbates the issue. Some of the sebderm safe moisturisers, cleansers, shampoos, toners, serums etc are fine for replenishing your skin barrier after you've used an antifungal but they don't actively fight the face fungus and it's hard to find piroctone olamine in a cleanser that isn't a shampoo especially in the quantities required to yield any results. I personally don't like using shampoos as a cleanser just to get the benefit of one active ingredient. They're not really formulated for that kind of use with any regularity.

This is actually one of the few cleansers and creams that I can find on the UK market containing an effective amount of piroctone olamine. I find that it isn't as drying as the aforementioned anti-fungals but it's still somewhat effective (I say somewhat because I don't think anything really gets rid of this stuff so it's all about managing the condition. Have realistic expectations with any product).

Hopefully Clever Soap never closes up shop or I'll have to concoct some DIY propanediol piroctone olamine serum in my kitchen and frankly I couldn't be bothered. Either that or somebody will decide it's carcinogenic and ban it. Personally I'll take my chances with cancer it's preferable to being a munter for whatever time I've got left on this mortal coil.

Great comms from the staff as well, any queries were addressed poste haste and my delivery arrived within the estimated time, cheers

Keeps my Seb Derm at bay

This is the first product, with continued use, that keeps my seb derm at bay. I used to have a shower and 20 minutes later I would be getting sore and scaley behind my ears and around my nose, this soap has stopped that.
