Our 1% Piroctone Olamine Shampoo with Salicylic Acid is designed to help fight dandruff and reduce visible flakes in the hair and on the scalp. Piroctone Olamine is a powerful, anti-dandruff ingredient that also helps to fight bacteria and soothe the scalp. Salicylic acid is included as an exfoliant, helping to remove excess oil and loosen dry, scaly skin. We've also included oatmeal to moisturize and protect the hair and scalp.
In addition to these benefits, our 1% Piroctone Olamine Shampoo is:
Sulphate-Free. Sulphates can dry out your skin, leaving it feeling dry and sore.
pH Balanced. This product has a pH that closely matches the pH of your skin.
Vegan-Friendly & Cruelty-Free. We never test on animals, and none of our products are derived from animals.
First, wash your hair with water and then apply our 1% Piroctone Olamine Shampoo while the hair is wet. Use your hands to rub the shampoo into the hair and scalp thoroughly, being careful to avoid contact with the eyes. Leave for up to 1 minute before rinsing off with water, then gently dry your hair with a towel.
Our shampoo can be used daily, but those with sensitive skin may wish to use it less frequently to start with.

Effective against itchy scalp
I get an itchy scalp off and on, no dandruff really, and this shampoo has been great for combating the itch. And I appreciate a healthy alternative to pyrithione zinc shampoos.

So far so good
It’s early days but seems better than the usual high street brands that deal with dandruff. It doesn’t foam up much but I suppose that’s because it’s not loaded with lots of baddies.
